EEG and motion signals processed in Python, low-latency C++ actuator control, a custom ESP32 SMD board and a web app for calibration and monitoring. The dean’s office endorsed it for continuation by research groups.
At CORUS Consulting we build and maintain integration flows. I joined as the least experienced developer on the team, learned quickly, and soon was taking on critical issues and proposing solutions the team adopted.
Universidad de Ibagué waived my full tuition four times for finishing the semester with the highest GPA in the program, twice in consecutive semesters.
Summer 2025 on a J-1 visa: a customer-facing job, coworkers from all over the world, and English every day.
At Casas Automáticas I reverse-engineered DALI devices with lab instruments, wrote a proprietary ESP32 C++ library for dimming and scenes, and designed multilayer PCBs in KiCad.

I'm in my 9th semester of Electronics Engineering at Universidad de Ibagué. Since September 2025 I've also worked as an integration developer at CORUS Consulting, on data flows for retail clients in Europe.
Most of what I've built sits between hardware and software: a C++ library for a lighting protocol I first had to decode with an oscilloscope, a brain-computer interface that presses a piano pedal, and web platforms with real users.
I'm also a teaching assistant for circuits courses, a student representative, and I play the piano.

I joined a team of developers with far more experience than me. I've learned a lot from them in a short time, and I've also been able to give back by helping solve issues the team had and proposing solutions that were implemented.

I lead workshops, prepare teaching material, grade, and support lab sessions. Explaining a circuit to a full room is the best test of whether I really understand it.
